[LUNA] Anyone in HSV using Comcast ....

I've been on comcast for 10 years in two states.  Decent service. Had some problems a few years ago of constantly dropping connections.  After moving into our home in 2004 I went through 3 cable modems in 2 years. Tech said the signal was too hot and had to put a filter on it to keep from burning the modem out. Not sure if related,  but the speed at that time was faster than advertised. Now it's ok. Speed test says its fast but at times seems congested. Just ran a test at 10.5Mbps / 7.7Mbps.

It's been decent enough that I could run my own file / proxy server (ssh tunnel from remote and proxy out).

One good thing about it prior to the digital cutover, I guess because of distance or signal or something, in order to give me the cable modem access they had to remove the blocks for premium channels, so I essentially got HBO and Showtime free. Sadly that is no more.

I've had more issues with the tv portion since the digital cutover than the internet.
