[LUNA] Satellite Internet

I have always leased mine. In the 15 years I have had one, the DOCSIS protocol has gone through three major revisions and a handful of minor ones. The one cable modem that I was using before I started leasing was not upgradeable, so I would not have benefited from that.

I see the Motorola Surfboard docsis modem selling for about $120, so I would guess that would be about a year's payback.

I'll keep paying the insurance :)
