[LUNA] $240 laptop

I have a 2005 era HP laptop running Crunchbang Linux I use for travel.  I
was looking for something lighter.

There seems to be a group of $249 laptops with Celeron processor and 500GB
disk drive and 4GB memory.   I may also be able to get a Dell Inspiron for
$189.   They have Windows 8, but I thought about dual boot or wiping it.
Any experience on how a full LInux install does on an Celeron with 4GB
memory?
