I have a recently upgraded machine running CentOS 6.7. It ran CentOS 5.8
for a few weeks uneventfully, & FC7-x86_64 (!!!!) for about 10 years before
that. I had to go to CentOS 6 to run some commercial software that only
supports RHEL6, not 5, which I found out the hard way :-/. Machine is an
Intel I7 CPU, NVidia gfx card, 24 GB RAM, 2 HDD's, 1 for system, other for
/home, where all data etc. resides. I have some inhouse code that ran OK
under FC7 & CentOS 5.8, but is croaking now w/ the following errors at the
CLI:
libGL error: unable to load driver: nouveau_dri.so
libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: nouveau
forrtl: severe (174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occurred

The program is an in-house CAD/grid-gen'n-pre-processor. using OpenGL
(obviously) & now croaking. It is invoked from the CLI, has been for 20-ish
years. Does this scream anything obvious ? If it's pilot error, do *NOT*
hesitate. TIA & have a good one.
